  • Boys & Girls Clubs of Portland Metropolitan Area – Since 1946, Boys & Girls Clubs of Portland has been providing thousands of young people with affordable, high-quality after-school and summer programs designed to help them develop the qualities needed to become responsible citizens and leaders.   • Create Plenty – Its roots are in a single-use plastic awareness project that began in Portland, Oregon in March of 2007 called Leave No Plastic Behind. This same project is now called the International Plastic Quilt Project to represent the global importance of addressing this issue and to make it easier for more people to participate.
