KidFest – Fall SpookTacular – Kids will scream with delight at the action packed festival opening up each day with Trick O’ Treat Parade of Prizes and featuring the Costume SWAP & Costume Contest, Spook House, Pumpkin Decorating, Halloween Treat Making, Boo Ball and more! Rebel Craft Rumble – SCRAP’s annual community event and fundraiser. Four pre-qualified contestants will compete in dramatic timed face-offs in front of a live audience to earn the title of Portland’s Craft Master. Crafty competitors will have a random selection of reused materials serving as the only weapons in their holster. The goal: turn waste into “Wow!” 21 and over, please. Christmas Ship Parade – For over 50 years, the Christmas Ship Parade has been seen on the Columbia and Willamette Rivers in Portland. Check the schedule and route details on their website, or Facebook.

Santa Is In Town! – Santa will be in his chair at Pioneer Place ready to hear holiday wishes from  November 17th to December 24th.

Tree Lighting Ceremony – Friday after Thanksgiving. Gather at the Square to celebrate the official start of the season by lighting the spectacular 75 ft. Tree. Join in the holiday sing-a-long. Get there early – it gets crowded by 4 pm.
