Just Between Friends Children’s & Maternity Consignment Sales Event – The Northwest’s largest children’s and maternity consignment sale – held twice each year (Spring/Summer – Fall/Winter).  For more information check out their website or Facebook.

Trash 2 Treasure – The largest community sharing event in Portland, occurs annually in April. A daylong event – over 5,000 items are exchanged between families at no cost. Thousands of items are recycled and local non-profits are present with information on how you can live more sustainably. Open to the public, free of charge, and 100% volunteer run. Sunday Parkways Northeast – Promotes healthy active living through a series of free events opening the city’s largest public space – it’s street – to walk, bike, roll, and discover active transportation. For more information check out their website.

St. Johns Parade – Annual parade held in May. 50th Annual Parade is May 12th/2012. Come by for a day filled with fun! For more info check out their website, or Facebook.

St. Johns Bizarre – Held annually and coincides with the St. Johns Parade. Welcomes neighbors and friends to celebrate the great St. Johns community. Local music, street performers, a vendor’s market, sausage, pizza, a Bier garden, kids art activities, and close proximity to all of the wonderful businesses located in the town center makes for a great day. Fleet Week – Coincides with all of the Rose Festival activies each year. Naval vessels from the United States Nave, U.S. Coast Guard and the Canadian Maritime Forces arrive from around the world for a four-day visit to the City of Roses. Ship tours available daily.
